History:

The legend recounts that Chiron, the centaur, hurt by the arrow of Hercules and full of  intense pain, gave up immortality in favor of Prometheus. Zeus, in order to reward the centaur, located him in the firmament. In second century second BC, the Egyptians used the centaur to represent the evolutionary transition between the animal and the human.

Characteristics of the Constellation:

The predominant tone in the constellation of Sagittarius is orange, related with all that has direct connection with the greatness of the abstract mind.

Effects:

1. Physical (ascendant):

Sagittarius helps to form bodies which in general are tall and athletic, with tendencies to put on weight and to stoop in their mature age if they do not maintain their natural sport and athletic disposition.  The face resembles a lengthened much wider oval in the top than in its inferior part; it is motivated to the voluminous, horizontal and clear inclined front to premature baldness that spreads to lean back in their superior level and, to an oval jaw that finishes in a circle and strong chin.
