ASTROLOGICAL HOUSES
IN PERSONAL THEMES
The houses or astrological sectors correspond to the twelve (12) parts of the local sky in the instant of the theme; it is conditioned by the meridian, geographical latitude and the station of the year.. This division consists of 2 hours for house or sector; that multiplied by 12 sectors or houses, is equal to 24 hours.
HOUSE I:
The ascendant, the corporal personality, constitution and physiognomy, conscience, own acts or innate tendencies, instincts, necessities, immediate atmosphere, evolutionary energy in general.
It is necessary to clarify that the ascendant represents the physical characteristics and the personal attitudes. As long as the Solar Sign, complements the personal attitudes or the personality without having anything to do with the personal physiognomy. As is the case of a man with an ascendant in Aries, whose physical appearance is highly of Aries; as well as his personality, he is as much of Aries as Libra.
In the following graphs, we can determine that the side view of the person in the case with the ascendant in Aries has more and less the same physiologic side view of the constellation of Aries.
