History:
The constellation is known from the century XXX BC, with Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn. The Caldeos treated Aries as the first sign of the zodiac, because the year commenced between March and April with the first new Moon of Aries. When Frixo was accused mistakenly of the kidnapping of Biadice and was therefore convict to death, he was able to escape on the loin of a ram saving his life. This event caused Zeus to immortalize the ram in the constellation of Aries.
